Back to Rajasthan

Author's PoV

It was Radha's grandparents wedding anniversary in five days. Since they wanted to celebrate in Rajasthan, the whole Varma family decided to go to Rajasthan.

Inder and Saroja were very happy as their sons, daughters (daughter-in-laws, but considers them as their daughters) and grandchildren were accompanying them to Rajasthan.

There was a rush in the Varma Residence as everyone was packing their things for the trip.

Radha packed a few traditional clothes, jhumkas, anklets. Her four brothers too packed her favourite snacks and drinks.

They took a flight from Delhi to Rajasthan.

Radha's PoV

Flight from Delhi to Rajasthan was good. I didn't feel lonely. Know what we flew in our private jet. Perks of  being born into a rich family.

It's been almost ten years since my last visit to Rajasthan.

I don't know what came to my mind when I saw our ancestral home. Old memories creeped towards me.

Mahesh Kaka and Malini Kaki (housekeepers but like a family) did all our arathis and welcomed us home.

"Princess you must be tired, go sleep."

Dada told me.

"Dada, even I am tired."

Aditya told. "You all are ignoring us."

Everyone laughs as Adi completed his sentence.

"Adi, even your Dadu, doesn't care about his own sons when his princess is here."

Pa told him making everyone laugh.

Time skip...

In the evening we all took seats in the garden to discuss the wedding anniversary celebration. After few hours all this was set.

"Dada, is there anyone you want to specifically invite?"

I asked.

"Oh, see, only my princess cares about me and my friends... Princess, you should invite my best friend, Yash Gupta Vardhan and his family."

Dadu told me.

"Done."

I replied and smiled.

Everyone went inside to their rooms while we youngsters sorted out the invitations.

"Rahul Bhaiya you should invite Mr. Yash Gupta Vardhan and his family. Don't forget."

I reminded my brother before leaving to my room.

Dinner making responsibilities were taken by we youngsters. We made everyone's favourites. Rahul Bhaiya and Ishaan Bhaiya cook too well. Adi can only eat and speak. Rithvik Bhai can cook but is not an expert. And me... they never even let me set a foot inside the kitchen when I was little. And after I sulked a full day, they allowed me to be in kitchen, when I was 15. And it was my two bhaiya's who taught me to cook.

After the dinner we all went to our respective rooms. I took out my canvas and put in my balcony which was attached to my bedroom and started painting.

This is how the painting looks after three hours.

This painting was a gift to Dada and Dadi as they both were lord Krishna's admirers.

I carefully took the painting to my closet and kept it safe there.

I wanted to draw something else, and I just let my hands do the work. But after few hours, I looked and saw I had drawn the same brown honey eyes that I saw in my dreams. It was somewhere familiar.

Five days passed quickly. The wedding anniversary of Dada and Dadi came rushing in.
